What SplitBuds does
SplitBuds helps you record expenses, calculate shares, review balances, and record settlements. It is a recordkeeping tool. It does not hold funds, transfer money, provide a bank account, or verify that a payment happened.
Your account and information
Use accurate information and keep your sign-in links private. Add only expenses you are entitled to share. Do not access another person’s account or use the service to harass others, commit fraud, or interfere with the service.
Shared records
Members can act on shared records according to the options available in a group. Confirm expense amounts, participants, currency, and exchange rates before relying on a balance. Resolve disagreements with the other people involved.
Payments and currency
Settle using a payment method you and your friend agree on, then record the settlement. A recorded settlement is not proof of transfer. Currency conversions are estimates based on the rate entered or shown when you convert.
