A little help
goes a long way.

Make a group

Open Groups in the app, choose a name, and add the people sharing your expenses.

Add an expense

Enter the amount and payer. Pick your participants and choose an equal or custom split.

Record a settlement

Pay your friend using your preferred method, then record the amount to update your balance.

Good questions. Clear answers.

What can I use SplitBuds for?

Trips, shared homes, dinners, celebrations, or anything you pay for together. Create a group for a shared experience, or add an expense with a friend. Everyone’s share stays easy to follow.

Can I scan a receipt with my phone?

Tap +, then Scan receipt. Take a photo on supported browsers or choose one from your device. SplitBuds reads the items and total when scanning is available. Check the scan, pick a group if needed, and remove anyone who didn’t share the bill before saving.

Do we have to split everything equally?

You choose what is fair. Split equally, enter exact amounts, use percentages, assign shares, or adjust individual portions. You can also record more than one person paying for the same expense.

Does SplitBuds move money for me?

SplitBuds keeps track of who owes what. Pay your friend using your preferred payment method, then record a settlement to update your balances. It does not move money or connect to your bank.

Can I track expenses in different currencies?

Yes. Record an expense in its original currency and keep balances by currency. Currency conversion tools let you review an exchange rate before converting balances.

Can I try it before creating an account?

Yes. Open the demo to explore sample groups and expenses. You can try adding a bill, review how splits work, and get a feel for your overview before creating your own account.

Will there be an Android or iPhone app?

SplitBuds starts on the web and works across desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. Dedicated Android and iOS apps are planned for a later release.
